Episode # 30 is here! In this episode, I speak with Amy Rubio. She is 30 years old, from Victoria, TX. Amy spent a year with NET Ministries, she currently works for a Parish in the Archdiocese of San Antonio and is taking Masters Classes at The Oblate School of Theology. What keeps Amy’s fire burning for our Catholic Faith? Amy talk about making a Commitment to Prayer, she keeps a Prayer Journal. She shares how being in a Like-Minded Community also helps her stay close to her Faith. We learn how she became a part of a Like-Minded Community with her time with NET Ministries and after attending a ACTS Retreat in San Antonio, TX. Amy shares a new project she has started, a YouTube Channel called “Spirituality on The Rocks.” Her goal is for this to be a channel for those who are seeking God but still fully human. We close out the episode by discussing setting aside time for Spiritual Development. Amy shares that attending a Silent Retreat at the beginning of the year helps her grow Spiritually.
